协同办公套件Zimbra的介绍和CentOS下的安装

Zimbra是一家提供专业的电子邮件软件开发供应商，主要提供Zimbra Collaboration Server协作服务器套件、Zimbra Desktop邮件管理软件等邮件方面的软件。2007年9月，Zimbra被雅虎收购。雅虎用3.50亿美元收购电子邮件软件提供商Zimbra。Zimbra提供的品牌电子邮件软件包含日历和移动功能以及离线工作功能。这家公司拥有200个教育行业、商业和互联网服务提供商合作伙伴，其中包括Comcast公司。该公司向大约900万用户提供品牌的电子邮件服务。

2010年2月份，Yahoo以1.7亿左右的价格将Zimbra出售给VMWare公司。现在Zimbra是VMWare公司的全资子公司。官方网站：http://www.zimbra.com

Zimbra办公套件包括WebMail，日历，通信录，Web文档管理和创作。它最大的特色在于其采用Ajax技术模仿CS桌面应用软件的风格开发的客户端兼容Firefox,Safari和IE浏览器。

功能介绍
Zimbra与众不同的特点是其“Zimlet”网络服务提供了更多的电子邮件功能。例如，人们可以简单地用鼠标点击电子邮件程序中的航班信息以检查航班的状况。用户还可以在电子邮件中跟踪FedEx公司的投递情况并且获得地图、股票和其它信息。

Zimbra的核心产品是Zimbra协作套件（Zimbra Collaboration Suite，简称ZCS）。除了它的核心功能是电子邮件和日程安排服务器，当然还包括许多其它的功能，就象是下一代的微软Exchange。在电子邮件和日程安排之外，它还提供文档存储和编辑、即时消息以及一个利用获奖技术开发的全功能的管理控制台。ZCS同时也提供移动设备的支持，以及与部署于Windows、Linux或apple操作系统中的桌面程序的同步功能。

ZCS安装对系统的要求

安装Zimbra的系统要求并不太高：1GB RAM、5GB磁盘空间以及一个支持Linux的产品（RedHat Linux企业版、Fedora、SuSE Linux企业版、openSUSE或Ubuntu）或OS X 10.4.7。不支持BSD。

Zimbra在Centos 5下的安装和配置

前提工作

本实验环境已经关闭防火墙和SELinux
zimbra服务器的IP为：192.168.1.5
# chkconfig sendmail off
# chkconfig ip6tables off
# chkconfig iptables off

安装一些必要的包
# yum install libtool-ltdl compat-libstdc++-33 sysstat

修改主机名
# echo "192.168.1.5 mail.linuxde.net mail" >> /etc/hosts

192.168.1.5 应为你服务器的IP地址

安装Name Service（DNS服务器）
默认安装的centOS 都已安装了named ，如果没安装自己再装一次吧

查看named 是否安装
# rpm -qa |grep bind
bind-libs-9.3.4-10.P1.el5
ypbind-1.19-11.el5
bind-chroot-9.3.4-10.P1.el5
bind-9.3.4-10.P1.el5
bind-utils-9.3.4-10.P1.el5

创建DNS服务配置文件named.conf
# vim /var/named/chroot/etc/named.conf

创建数据文件

定义zimbra服务器的DNS服务器地址

启动named
# service named start

添加到开机启动
# chkconfig named on

测试解释是否正常
# nslookup mail.linuxde.net

如出现以下内容说明正常
Server: 192.168.1.5
Address: 192.168.1.5#53
Name: mail.linuxde.net
Address: 192.168.1.5

安装zimbra

下载后解压tgz包
# tar zxvf zcs-6.0.1_GA_1816.RHEL5.20090911181524.tgz

安装zimbra
# cd zcs-6.0.1_GA_1816.RHEL5.20090911181524

# ./install.sh --platform-override
安装过程会有N多提示，对新手来说前面的都可以默认

至到

完成后输入r回到上级目录

输入a 应用刚刚的修改

再次确定，直接回车

提示系统会被修改，这里要选择Yes

是否把安装信息发送到zimbra 官网，yes 和 no 都可以
Notify Zimbra of your installation? [Yes]

出现以下行证明安装配置成功
Configuration complete - press return to exit

安装完成，可以测试一下了
https://192.168.1.5:7071 注意是https，这里是zimbra的管理控制台
http://192.168.1.5 这是里用户webmail
